We formed Doodlewell so we could continue to do what we love most - create great animated content for TV and Film.
We've been lucky enough to be a part of many fantastic projects over the last 25+ years and finally feel we've learnt enough to make some of our own!
Kelly Thomas
Co-Founder / Creative Director
Kelly has storyboarded over 100 episodes of preschool television with credits across ‘Fireman Sam’, ‘Wussywat the Clumsy Cat’, ‘Bobinogs’ and ‘Igam Ogam’. She also contributed to the storyboards and previsualization on Games Workshop’s ‘Ultramarines’ movie and produced all of the 2D backgrounds and props across ‘Hana’s Helpline’.

Ben Halliwell
Co-Founder / Producer / Director
Ben has directed over 200 episodes of preschool television with credits across ‘Jojo & Gran Gran’, ‘Igam Ogam’, ‘Norman Picklestripes’ and ‘Shane the Chef’. He was the Line producer for the £10 million independent feature film ‘Chuck Steel: Night of the Trampires’ where he handled the budget, schedule and facility recruitment and management. He was the animation consultant for the hit BBC Wales comedy animation 'The Golden Cobra' and reguarly mentors and trains new entrants to the industry. He has been a part of the UK animation industry for over 25 years, starting as a runner and animating on ‘The Wombles’ for his first credit in 2000.
